Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Because licensure and certification as a speech- language pathologist or audiologist by the State of North Carolina and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association require successful completion of an appropriate graduate degree, this program is preprofessional in nature. An Academic Interest Area or a minor is required.

The department also offers minors in Communication Sciences and Disorders and American Sign Language.
