Prerequisites for Out-of-Field Students
The following courses (or their equivalents from other universities) must be completed prior to beginning the standard graduate coursework sequence.
- CD 2260 Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech and Hearing Mechanism (3 sh)
- CD 2361 Phonetics (3 sh)
- CD 2464 Basic Speech Hearing Science (3 sh)
- CD 3162 Structural Analysis of Language (or linguistics course) (3 sh)
- CD 3366 Communication Development (3 sh)
- CD 5364 Audiology (3 sh)*
- CD 5766 Neuroanatomy and Physiology (3 sh)*
*This course may be taken concurrently with standard graduate coursework
