Advanced Licensure
Advanced Licensure by the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction
Students who complete 60 semester hours of graduate study are eligible for advanced licensure through the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction. Advanced licensure qualifies speech-language pathologists for a higher pay grade (currently $126 more per month) in North Carolina schools.
